De-branding & Language Change

What is De-branding?
De-branding basically means removing the operator firmware, and replacing it with the manufacturers original firmware. Converting your phone to the full spec as it was intended by the manufacturer (the way it should be).

How do we debrand phones?
we have all the necessary tools and latest mobile firmware's (software flash files) to enable us to flash the software in your phone. This deletes and replaces the existing operator's software with the original and un-restricted, unbranded manufacturers software.

What are the benefits of De-branding?
Once your mobile has been de-branded, you will notice all the menu systems are clearer, un-restricted, and often faster too. We also use the latest firmware to date, which will hold improvements on your old firmware. This often removes any software glitches that your phone previously had. Also some network firmware's prevent you uploading ringtones & pictures via cable, or manually setting your internet homepage, de-branding enables you to do this. This service also allows you to change the language of your phone (Arabic / Chinese etc.)


There are 3 options available to get your phone de-branded:

De-brand by Post
Use our de-brand by post service (reccomended).

On-Site De-brand
We do offer a de-brand while you wait service, this can cause you long waiting times though, as de-branding does take quite a bit of time on most models. We recommend you send your phones to us using the de-brand by post service. As this gives us more time to carryout the work undisturbed.

DIY De-branding Kit
For the technical minded out there, we also have a number of DIY de-branding kits that will alow you to de-brand an unlimited number of handsets. More information

This may not be the best solution for you though, as de-branding does take a bit of technical knowlage and is done at your own risk. We would always recommend you send your phone to us using the de-brand by post service.
